I slept amongst the shade Cast by the eucalyptus and caressed by the breeze; Birds they sing to share their message. Dreams come and go rapidly Too fast to cast my judgment; I latch on and then let it go.  Reluctantly I awaken at the foot of Huascaran Smaller than when I began but prouder than when I came; Body refreshed and mind reset I roll over for more.

I’ve got so many damn photos, that I feel like I’m robbing my devoted following from seeing more of Peru if I don’t start sharing them. So I’m starting FRIGG YEAH FRIDAY. It’s gunna just be photos, so make sure you look real good like.

En la valle mis pulmones son llenos con polvo, En la montañas respiro aire fresco. En la valle los autos me dominan, En las montañas camino sin temor. En la valle aprendo como aspirante, En las montañas trabajo como voluntario. Uno es mejor que otro, Pero en los dos lugares lindos, Vivo agradaciemente.

My 3 week site exploration has now come to an end. As I find myself back at the training center, I reminisce about my weeks in Ancash. I come back to Lima feeling grateful and motivated to return back to my service. Living in the mountains once again provided a homecoming I would not have traded for any other site.
