To celebrate the mother’s day and the female professors, the entire faculty and staff went to lunch. We ate pachamanca and drank lots of friggen soda and beer. 

I like to hangout in the kitchen when there is cooking being done because the fire reminds me of camping and campfires. Good friggen memories. 

Antonio, our guide for a trek we did, asking for permission to enter the mountains. You do this by blowing the pututu in all four cardinal directions. The gods, upus, said yes! It still friggen rained and hailed though. 

On treks like this, the llamas and donkeys do all the hard work. Bad friggen luck. 

Frigg yes! We reached the friggen top! The pass was roughly 15,500 feet above sea level.
